Here are some before and after pictures from a cleaning job I did today in the Promontory Point neighborhood in Gold River CA.

I cleaned a few areas of carpet and then the tile and grout countertops in the kitchen area. Then I finished by deep cleaning all the tile and grout floors downstairs in the home.

The grout was pretty bad in the kitchen area but overall turned out great and the homeowner was very happy with the end results and to have nice fresh clean floors throughout their home.

This homeowner had just purchased this home in Gold River and was in the process of painting their home before moving in their furniture. They had a few areas downstairs where the spilled paint onto the tile and wanted all the tile and grout cleaned before they finished the project.

I was able to remove drips and overspray off the tile and grout because man-made ceramic or porcelain tile paint does not adhere to the surface and can be removed with the proper cleaning products.

After steam cleaning all the tile and grout I applied a solvent-based sealer to the grout lines to protect the grout and make cleaning easier after the homeowner has moved in.

On this job, I was called out to clean the main areas of tile and grout in the kitchen area and dining room where the grout was the issue. The tile was ceramic or porcelain so being a man-made product it is usually relatively easy to keep clean. The grout on the other hand is not the same and can be very time consuming and tedious to keep clean, especially if doing it on your hands and knees.

After cleaning all of the areas with tile and grout I used an air mover to speed dry the floors and then applied a sealer to the grout lines to help with maintenance cleaning until the next time this homeowner decided to have the tile and grout professionally cleaned.

On this job we cleaned 2,000 square feet of some beautiful tile and grout in Gold River for new home owners who wanted to get the floors professionally cleaned before moving in.
