Pet Damage Pad Replacement

This morning's job was a small repair where the
homeowner's dog pulled back the carpet and
then ripped up the padding in one of the bedrooms.

I replaced the damaged section of padding and then
power stretched the carpet back into place
because the edges of the carpet were damaged
a little bit and had started to fray.

Pet Damaged Carpet In Apartments

This was a smaller carpet repair job
in the Rancho Cordova area in an apartment
where the cat scratched the carpet
in the corner of this bedroom.

My client needed to get their deposit back
and had me come out to get this area fixed.
I was able to stretch the corner over
and secure the carpet to fix the damage
instead of having to do a patch repair.

Replacing Pet Damaged Carpet

This carpet had been dug up by a dog
where the carpet seam was, which is a very
common part of the room that gets damaged.
I was able to take a small piece from a closet
and replace the damaged section of carpet
to fix this area that had been damaged.

Pet Damaged Seam Carpet Repair

Here is a before and after picture from one of my jobs
of carpet in a bedroom that had pet damage on a seam.

instead of replacing the entire master bedroom
for the small pet damage you see,
we were able to take a small piece from a closet
to patch and repair the damage.

Carpet Wrinkles In A Hallway

This job was done near Cobblestone Park
for a home owner who had carpet ripples
in their upstairs hallway.
Most jobs we do have wrinkles in this area
because the installers usually do not stretch
this area properly before seaming the carpet
together with the other rooms upstairs.

We sometimes have to cut the carpet at a doorway
to make a new seam, or take apart on old seam
to properly re-stretch these areas
and fix the problem.

My Dog Ripped Up My Carpet!

This is a very common carpet repair we
get called out to come fix.
When a dog is in a room and want out,
they will start to dig at the carpet.
This is usually where the carpet seam is
at a doorway, so that carpet will rip
and start to pull away and become damaged.

We can use extra carpet to fix this!
We cut out the damaged area, replace any padding
that may have been damaged, then patch in
the new piece of carpet and tuck the carpet in.

Carpet Bubbles At A Doorway

This is another very common area
you will start to see carpet wrinkles
or bubbles at in your home.
This is another installer mistake,
resulting in them not stretching the carpet
after making the carpet seam,
or doing the seam last after installing the room.
This area will not have any stretch to it,
and will start to bubble in a short
amount of time.
Most of the time we can re-stretch this area
without cutting a new seam in the carpet.
This all depends on the type of carpet
and where the wrinkles are located.

We Stretch Carpet
Even If It's Only 1 Room

Many homes are part of a community
and certain rules must be followed as home owners.
This carpet stretch was done in the
Villages Of Zinfandel community
near Tuscany Park and Stone Creek Park.

This customer had a wrinkle where
the carpet from the front room met the living room.
After an inspection it was cited as a tripping hazard
and had to be fixed by the home owner.

We do have a minimum charge for smaller jobs,
but we do schedule small repairs like this one.
We were able to stretch the living room
and the home owner passed their inspection.
