Deep Cleaning Carpet After Moving Out

6-30-2023

Today's job was deep cleaning some very soiled carpets in the Natomas area of Sacramento CA. The tenants had been evicted and left the home in such a horrible condition, but instead of replacing the carpets, I was able to deep clean them and get them looking and feeling much better. This job needed a deep scrub to agitate the carpets after applying a cleaning solution, and then a thorough steam cleaning rinse to extract all the filth in the carpets.

Cleaning 28-Year-Old Nylon Carpet

8-5-2022

I personally think Nylon carpet is some of the best carpet you can have installed in your home (besides wool), but over 28 years of foot traffic and random spills that will turn into stains, carpet cleaning is not going to bring it back to life.

Even though the carpet can be permanently stained it is still a good idea to have the carpet professionally cleaned on at least a yearly basis for health reasons. Carpet is like a filter in your home that collects bacteria, hair from pets, dead skin cells, and many other things in the air in your home that definitely need to be rinsed and extracted out of the carpet.

What Carpet Cleaning Method Is The Best?

We mostly do steam cleaning when we are hired to clean carpet, but there are benefits to having your carpets cleaned with low moisture. Most people know this method as 'dry cleaning'. Depending on the foot traffic in your home, and if you have children or pets, low moisture carpet cleaning may be the best option for your home. It's more of a maintenance cleaning and can be done every 6 months or yearly.

If your carpet is in very bad condition or you have pet urine issues and stains, we highly recommend steam cleaning to completely rinse the carpet fibers. Steam cleaning uses very hot water (steam) that can get up to 260 degrees fahrenheit, and rinses the carpet while disinfecting and cleaning. Our truck mounted unit has a high powered vacuum that we use to suck all the water and dirt out to a waste tank in our van.

Carpet will take longer to dry using steam cleaning, but it is the best way To completely rinse your carpet fibers if they are really soiled.

Upholstery Cleaning In Natomas

Besides carpet cleaning, I also offer upholstery cleaning and clean most types of fabrics. If you have a sectional sofa or any pieces of furniture with synthetic material it might be a good idea to get it professionally steam cleaned.

Over the years upholstery is often overlooked and can gather dust and bacteria over time that get stuck in the fibers of the upholstery and should be steam cleaned to refresh your favorite pieces of furniture.

Go With The Best Carpet Cleaning Company

Natomas is a very popular area of Sacramento. Not only are most commercial business and warehouses close by, but this is the closest community to the Sacramento International Airport. There are tons of condominiums and apartments that we clean in this area.

We know how important it can be to get your deposit back, especially if you have only lived at your place for a short while.

This job was for a woman that was moving out of her condo into a new house. We came in and cleaned the carpet to help her get her full deposit back.

Most property managers only need a receipt to show that you have had the carpets cleaned, but some are very picky, and if you do not hire a professional company, you may do more harm than good.

Reasonable Carpet Cleaning Prices

Neglected your carpets lately? No worries! That is why you have us for. Call / Text us today at (916) 312-7000 and let us give you a general estimate so you can know what to expect before we schedule and appointment.

This home was done for a large family with children old and young. We are used to cleaning juice spills, greasy make up stains, pet urine, traffic areas and more.

Over time carpet fibers can become damaged, so we always explain to our customers that we will do the best we can, but we cannot clean damaged carpet fibers. The new types of carpet called "Polyester" is very cheap, and looks and feels great when first installed. Over a short period of time though (sometimes a year or two) the carpet fibers will crush causing dark traffic areas. Even after carpet cleaning you may still see the outline where foot traffic was. This is mostly noticed when furniture is moved and you can see the new carpet vs. the old.

As you can see in the picture here - even after cleaning you may still notice the traffic areas.

Apartment Cleaning, Rug Deep Cleaning

On this job we were actually called out, for an estimate for carpet stretching. This homeowner spent over 10,000 dollars to have new carpet installed, Only to find out less than 3 years later that the installer did NOT USE A POWER STRETCHER.

Not only does this job cost thousands more to repair, but most of the furniture must be moved again to do so.

We cannot stress this point enough. Go with a trusted professional, instead of larger companies that care more about your wallet than your home.
