This job was near the University Of Davis for a college student who had some pet damage in her Orchard Park apartment at the entryway.

I was able to use some extra carpet provided to cut the damaged section out and put in a new piece of carpet to repair the damaged area.

Re-Stretching Wrinkled Carpet In A Hallway

Today's job was re-stretching some carpet in an upstairs hallway in Davis for a client who had some pretty bad wrinkles forming in this area of their home.

Hallways can be trickier to re-stretch since there are multiple connections with other rooms or areas, but with expertise and experience, it can be done.

I had to cut and make 1 seam in order to complete this job but everything turned out great and the client was pleased with the results. No more wrinkles in the carpet and no more of a tripping hazard in this home.

Carpet Re-Stretching & Repair

Today's job was re-stretching some Berber carpet in Davis for a new client who had some carpet wrinkles in their living room. I had to move a few pieces of furniture back and forth to complete the re-stretch but everything stretched out nicely and now no more wrinkles in the carpet.

This client hired another carpet cleaning company in their area to look at the carpet because they said they did carpet stretching. When they saw the home they said it was too difficult and they couldn't stretch the carpet, so the client reached out to me to get my opinion.

Re-Stretching Carpet Upstairs With A Hallway

Today we made our way out of our normal service area over to Dixon California to help a client who had some rippling going on upstairs in their home. The carpet really needed to be re-stretched in the hallway, so we cut a seam, stretched it over, and finished this repair.

We also re-stretched the stairs for free while we were there just because loose steps (signs of a bad installer) bother us.

Repairing Carpet To Tile Transitions

Most pet damaged carpet happens where the carpet is seamed together or where carpet meets other flooring. In this condo in Davis the carpet was frayed near tile but was in a hallway section so the carpet could not be re-stretched to fix this area.

Instead we took a small piece from a closet and patched the damaged area. The carpet was in good condition, so the repair turned out invisible. Then we stretched the carpet back onto the tack strip and tucked the carpet to the tile.
