My client today in Downtown Sacramento CA had several areas where their pet hamster caused excessive damage to multiple spots, and they wanted to have it repaired.

Thankfully they had leftover carpet from the original installation so I was able to use that to replace the damaged areas. The areas were in corners and alongside the walls, so they blended better than if they were in a main traffic walkway.

Today's job in Sacramento CA was repairing a few areas of carpet to tile where the carpet was damaged by dogs and had the tack strips exposed. This was in a main traffic area so instead of patching the damage (which would be very visible with new carpet joined with worn carpet), I was able to stretch the entire room and use the excess from other areas to fix this damaged area.

After the repairs were done, I also cleaned all the carpet and tile in the home.

This carpet was about 20 years old and the homeowner thankfully had a small roll saved in their garage that I was able to take a small donor piece from to do a patch repair and fix the damaged area, I was also able to cut out the ink stain that was there.

Today's job was re-stretching the carpet in a hallway and then cleaning the carpet in Sacramento CA. This carpet was installed a few years ago and started developing wrinkles in the carpet which was starting to become a tripping hazard.

I used a power stretcher to properly stretch the carpet and had to cut a seam in the hallway in order to stretch all the areas nice and tight to finish this repair. After stretching the carpet I deep cleaned all the areas to bring this carpet back to life and get it in the best condition possible to increase the life of the carpet.

This job was out of my usual service area over near the Auburn area in Meadow Vista for a homeowner who found me online. This homeowner just had the carpet installed in this bedroom less than 2 months ago and decided to rent the room out. The person they rented the room out turned out to be a heavy drug user and ended up burning an area of the carpet and padding all the way down to the subfloor.

They tried to call the big-name store that installed to carpet to see if anyone could replace just the bedroom carpet but no one would do the job unless the carpet and padding were replaced which would have cost a lot more than replacing the damaged area.

Thankfully they had extra carpet left over from the installation so I was able to patch and replace the damaged area of carpet for a much lower price than replacement and save this homeowner time and money and avoid throwing away brand newish carpet and padding for no reason.

Today's job was power stretching the carpet in a living room and dining room in a home in Sacramento CA. This client was having furniture delivered later on in the week and wanted to get the carpet stretched before getting their new sofas.

They had the carpet installed a few years ago and the installation was very quickly done so the carpet was not properly stretched into place. I was able to power stretch both rooms and get the carpet back flat and tight the way it should be.

This client had a small water damage in their hallway and cut the carpet in order to pull it back and let the area dry. After everything was dry they called me to come pull the carpet back together and join the pieces of carpet back together. I was able to stretch the carpet together and make a seam where the carpet was cut to fix this area.

I was called out to stretch the carpet in this home exactly 2 years ago but the carpet was not stretched in the master bedroom as there were no wrinkles at the time. While all the other rooms I stretched are still fine, the master bedroom needed to have the carpet stretched. I was able to put the bed taking up most of the room on furniture sliders and stretch the carpet in the room without disassembling the bed.
