With the carpet seam cut open, the carpet was able to be re-stretched to remove the wrinkles.

this property was just acquired and desperately needed the carpet
stretched and cleaned while it was still empty.

There were 2 larger rooms, 6 medium-sized rooms, and the stairs

This homeowner bought this home 3 years ago with brand new carpet that was not

I was called out to stretch out the carpet in one area upstairs in this home in Lincoln.
All the bedrooms with carpet in the home were fine and did not show any signs of wrinkles
but the hallway section had a large wrinkle right when you walked up the stairs.

The way this home was built resulted in a long hallway section
that connected all the other areas together upstairs.
It looks like this area was not properly stretched when it was installed
before connecting it with the other areas and it started forming a wrinkle in this area.
I was able to cut open the carpet and get everything stretched tight and flat
before gluing the carpet back together to finish this re-stretch job.

All the carpet was upstairs in this home and had a few areas
with wrinkles forming that needed to be stretched and repaired.

Carpet Repair To Raised Tile Or Other Types Of Flooring

This is a very common repair I get called out to do,
especially after having new tile installed in a bathroom area.
After the tile is installed there is a height difference
with the carpet being lower than the tile resulting in an exposed tile edge.

The solution is to install shims or ramps under the carpet and padding to build the carpet up
to meet the height of the tile and then stretch the carpet to the tile to finish the repair.

This job was done near Sun City Lincoln Hills
close to Ferrari Ranch Rd. and Sun City Blvd.
This client was selling her home and needed a few areas
repaired where the carpet had frayed near the tile.

This is a very common repair and can leave the tack strip
exposed which has pins that if stepped on can be very painful!

By power stretching the carpet over we can secure the carpet
and fix this damage without patching the damaged area.
A patch would stand out in this main walkway
so stretching the carpet is the best solution for this repair.

Pet Pee In Your Carpet?

If you have pets you know accidents happen.
As our beloved pets get older, sometimes
it gets more difficult for them to hold their bladder.

Underneath the carpet is a foam underlayment or 'Padding'
that can act like a sponge soaking up urine.
Unfortunately that sponge is under your installed carpet
and cannot just be rinsed and squeezed out to dry.

There are methods professional carpet cleaners use
that can temporarily fix the odor problem
but the best way is to replace the padding.

This is done by making a cut or seam in the carpet,
pulling back the carpet to expose the damaged area,
and removing the old padding and replacing with new.
In this picture you can see this also gives us a chance
to see exactly where the urine is in the carpet
and treat the subfloor (concrete or wood) if needed.

Before installing new padding, the carpet can be rinsed
thoroughly from both sides and treated to save it.
Then the new padding can be installed and the carpet
can be put back together and stretched back into place.

This may seem like a lot to do, but this job here
took less than 2 hours and cost $250 to repair.

I would definitely recommend replacement.
